Pregnant and/or Parenting
Young Women
- A FREE program provided by West Suburban
Teen Clinic.
- A licensed Public Health Nurse (PHN) will call
and/or meet with you in your home, at school,
the clinic, or some other convenient place.
- A PHN can assist you if you are pregnant, if you
have a parenting and/or adoption plan and if
you are already parenting a young child.
- Our PHN’s have a lot of experience working
with young people and provide information and
education in a non-judgmental way.

- ECFE (Early Childhood Family
Education)
- Childbirth classes

- Provide parenting support or tips.
- Help find or possibly supply necessary equipment
needed for pregnancy & parenting.
- Teach about breast and bottle feeding.
- Check on baby’s developmental milestones.
- Discuss / help make future plans including
school, GED, job, training, etc.

West Suburban Teen Clinic (WSTC) is a non-profit
organization that provides affordable and confidential
reproductive health services to men and
women ages 12-23 years old, in addition to
educational and mental health services.
Funding for Becoming is provided primarily by the
Positive Alternatives grant from the MN Department
of Health.
